ON PAYMENT AND REFUNDS regardless of the situation, the client should always contact the artist if they have questions about payment or are considering a refund, however, the situation changes a lot depending on where the purchase is made: 1. if the client is purchasing from the Ko-fi Shop, the client must understand that: a. payment and artwork delivery is processed by the Ko-fi website and their full responsibility b. payment is done through either Paypal or Stripe c. the artwork is provided as is, without any warranty or condition. the client does not have a right to request a refund 2. if the client is purchasing directly with the artist, the client must understand that: a. payment and artwork delivery is done by the artist and their full responsibility b. payment is done through either Paypal, Stripe or Wise c. the client does have a right to request a refund during the first month after payment only d. the artist reserves the right to deny any refunds once a refund is processed the client loses all rights to the artwork and the artist has a right to have any of the client's public uses of the artwork taken down indefinitely. ON USING THE PURCHASED ARTWORK permission is granted, to any client (be they a person or an organisation), to use the artwork they purchased for personal, commercial, or educational purposes, subject to the following conditions: 1. credits to the original shall be included in all copies or modified versions of thes artwork. 2. the client is one of the following: a. an individual person b. a non-profit organisation c. an educational institution d. an organization that seeks shared profit for all of its members, and allows non-members to set the cost of their labor 3. if the client is an organization with owners, then all owners are workers and all workers are owners with equal equity and/or equal vote. 4. if the client is an organization, then the client is not law enforcement or military, or working for or under either. 5. the client does not use the artwork for ill-intentioned reasons, as determined by the authors of said artwork. said reasons include but are not limited to: a. bigotry, including but not limited to racism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, sexism, antisemitism, religious intolerance b. pedophilia, zoophilia, necrophilia and/or incest c. support for cops and/or the military d. any blockchain-related technology, including but not limited to cryptocurrencies e. any AI supported image generation technology, with an exception for members of the AWAY coalition 6. the client does not promote or engage with any of the activities listed in the previous item, and is not affiliated with any group that promotes or engages with any of such activities, regardless if done in an online/fictional setting. 7. the client does not resell the artwork without major modifications nor as a base. 8. the client understands that, if they are found to be disrespecting any of the conditions in these terms, the artist has a right to have any of the client's public uses of the artwork taken down indefinitely.
